Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

In verse 16 we are told of trees planted by God, here we see birds making their nest in these trees. Through Christ ✝️, God has been planting “the seed of the kingdom tree” in the hearts of men:
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Matthew 13:31-32 KJV
[32] Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
When the seed 📖 of the kingdom grows to become a tree in our heart, that’s akin to us growing up in Christ, when we cease from 🍼 and now on 🍖, when the root of his word, fills every inch of the soil of our heart. At that time, birds lodge in the branches of the tree. I.e. people (birds) can find shelter & rest (lodge) from the weariness of this world, in the branches of the tree (the truth ✝️).
The devil desires to scorch “the seed” before it grows into maturity (Matt 13:6). Because, in doing so, he will not only stop you from growing up in Christ, but he will also stop you from becoming a mature tree that could/would one day shelter others from his scorching heat ☠️. Selah!
