A man who cannot take care of his family, though he thinks he has a ministry / calling, is worst than a man without faith. It is impossible to serve God, at the expense of the extreme care of his home.
God shares his views clearly on this matter in this movie. A man leads his home, as Christ leads his church. Christ cherishes his church so much that he knows even the smallest pains of the heart. May you be healed in this, so that when God speaks to you, you do not respond as though you do not recognize His voice.
