Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
1 Tim 6:17
This scripture here describes what can happen at times to those who are rich. They get highminded. They start to think that it’s their own wisdom or hard work that brought about success forgetting this very important fact.
It’s God who raised them up.
Let’s not allow the “rich mentality” (highmindedness) to be found in us. Always be humble and remember that anything we have in life is through the blessings of God.
