Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

“We are his people and the sheep of his pasture”, those words don’t apply to all of God’s creation. His people, his sheep, hears and obeys his voice… the voice of the Good Shepherd. The LORD Jesus who made us all. If you aren’t his sheep but you desire to be, then hear the first call he issues to his sheep:
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
John 5:25 KJV
Come out! is the call of the Shepherd. Out of the grave, out of Babylon, out of darkness, out of flesh, and follow him. He came where we are/were to lead us to where he is.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
