The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
Psalm 104:21 KJV
Consider this: in the spiritual, there are two lions. The Lion of Juda i.e. Jesus (Rev 5:5) and the lion who seeks whom he may devour i.e. the devil (1 Pet 5:8). We are all children (young lions) of one of these two lions. Therefore, “young lions” is a biblical reference to men:
And he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to catch the prey, and devoured men.
Ezekiel 19:6 KJV
Now notice that the young lions are men and their prey are also men.
Now consider, Psalm 22:1 tells us that our words are akin to roaring and Proverbs 30:14 tells us that our teeth and jaws are weapons used to ‘devour’.
Therefore, the prey of the young lions are those that succumb to their roar and bite. If the young lions of Juda roar and bite their prey, flesh is devoured so the spirit may live.
But if the bite and roar is of a young lion of Satan, spirit is devoured and flesh is strengthened.
For the young lions of the darkness, scripture declares:
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
Psalm 58:6 KJV
But for the young lions of Juda:
Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
Isaiah 5:29 KJV
The place where the lion of darkness was defeated and had his teeth broken is the said place the conquering Lion was exalted ✝️. As young lions, we can stand with the defeated lion and share his fate or stand in victory with the true Lion King 👑 adopted as his cubs.
Another great read and revelation that inspires! I hadn’t known of the Lion cubs verses before now. Understanding clearly the difference between the Lion of Judah (God) and the lion that devours
Glory to Jesus.
