Good morning all. Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.We saw yesterday that “the gates” are the 12 gates of Jerusalem and to enter speaks to us coming into the Kingdom of Christ by keeping the commandments of: faith in Jesus and love for each other (1 John 3:23).To enter his courts is us coming into his house which is in the midst of Jerusalem.Psalm 116:19 *In the courts of the Lord’s house*, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem..Why is this a big deal? Because this means all nations|gentiles are *now* able to enter Jerusalem, enter God’s house as he promised many times in the OT:Jeremiah 3:17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord ; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart. The beauty is not us simply being able to enter his City, his house, but being considered a *citizen*, a member of the *family.*Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but *fellowcitizens* with the saints, and *of the household of God;*This is why the psalmist says to enter with thanksgiving and praise. We are a citizen of Jerusalem|Kingdom, a child of God through the blood of Jesus. 🥳😎🤗🥳
