Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Psalm 100:4 KJV
Here again scripture points us to the Messiah. Only through him are we able to enter the gates. What are his gates? It speaks of the entrance into his kingdom, the twelve gates of Jerusalem (Rev 21:12). How does one enter?
And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
Revelation 21:25 KJV
You have to enter by day… night|darkness is not there cause the gates are closed to them, that’s why scripture says this of those outside:
But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
Revelation 22:15 KJV
So how does one enter the gates you ask?
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14 KJV
Which commandments will give me access to the city?
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1 John 3:23 KJV
This is how we enter by day when we are walking in the light of Jesus. Selah!
