My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
Psalm 104:34 KJV
To meditate on the LORD is to meditate on his word ✝️. To meditate on his word is to meditate on Jesus, for he is “the word of God”, he is the LORD.
Scripture says that the thoughts of our mind is who we are.
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Proverbs 23:7 KJV
Therefore, when the LORD tells us to meditate on him, this is the process by which he changes us. For if we think like God, we will bear his nature/image ❤️… in other words….the word of God ✝️ reveals the mind of God and by telling us to meditate on his word, he’s encouraging us to think on him so we can think like him, and when we think like him, we will talk and act like him.
How does God think and act? Glad you asked 😁
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: [6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: [7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Philippians 2:5-8 KJV
