The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
Psalm 104:31 KJV
How does the glory of the LORD connect to him rejoicing in his works? Let’s first establish what is his works:
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10 KJV
We are his work ✝️! But how does this connect to his glory? First understand this, scripturally, there is the glory of the fleshy/carnal man (Terrestrial) and the glory of the Spirit/Heavenly man (celestial) :
There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
1 Corinthians 15:40 KJV
Outside of Christ, man bears the glory/image of the earthy/carnal. But in Jesus, we bear the glory/image of the heavenly. We are changed from glory (flesh) to glory (Spirit) as we behold him. This is where the LORD and all of heaven rejoices, his work of changing us from glory to glory i.e. from flesh to Spirit
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV
