He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
Psalm 104:13 KJV
Verse 3 told us how God “lays the beams of his chambers in the waters”, now we are told from there he waters the hills.
Recall the water cycle: the light of the sun enters the waters, the heat of that light causes water to condensate, the resulting water vapor is void of impurities and rises to the upper atmosphere and goes on to become clouds, which then rain upon the earth!
The beams of God’s chamber laid in the waters is the Light of the Risen Son entering and making a home in us (waters). His Light, his truth, heats us and transforms us to a new creature (water vapor) where old things are left behind (impurities in water, are not present in its vapor). Now as vapor, we rise to become clouds i.e. we are raised up to be seated in heavenly places with Christ.
Laying his beam in the waters is how he transformed us to be clouds. And it’s from clouds, God waters the hills. When we function as a cloud of witness to Jesus, that’s the rain of God’s truth being poured out through our lives to water men!
Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
1 Corinthians 3:8 KJV
That process that takes us from waters beneath to waters above is difficult, but the earth being satisfied by the fruit of this process which is life in the earth, is a shadow of how we earthen vessels, will be satisfied with the fruit of his work ✝️ i.e. Life in us, through his Spirit.
